We are estimating +/- 6 months turn around time for peak wedding season 2024. Our focus during peak season is heavily placed on drying fresh bouquets which results in minimal time left for designing frames. If you are anticipating a quicker turn around time then we may not be the right fit for you.
Please visit our "Order Status" page on our website to see where you sit in our design queue after you drop your bouquet off. This is the best/easiest place for us to keep you up to date without having to send individual emails!
If you have any certain dates you require your frame(s) by for gifting purposes/other reasons please feel free to reach out and we'll see what we can do!

We are available Monday - Friday with daytime and evening time slots for bouquet drop-offs. Please note we will not be accepting any drop-offs on Saturdays or Sundays. Please plan your drop-off accordingly and allocate an individual for drop-off if required. Long weekend drop-offs will be available starting on Tuesdays.
We have detailed care instructions to send prior to your wedding to ensure your flowers are well cared for prior to drop-off.
Finished Frame pick-ups will have some weekend pickup availability.

The frame size is up to you, your preference and your budget. We dry to frame size meaning we will only dry and use what will fit in your frame. Anything unused will be returned with drop-off. If your bouquet is larger than the frame, you'll have more leftovers. If your bouquet is smaller than the frame you'll have lots of negative space surrounding the framed bouquet (which can be a really pretty effect!)
We will always work with whatever size you choose but keep the following in mind:
Small - 12" x 16" Frames usually just fit a small sampling of your bouquet, or small bouquets.
Medium - 16" x 20" Frames usually fit most of the average size bouquet.
Large - 18" x 24" Frames can be hard to fill unless you have a large bouquet or bring along extra flowers.
-
Virtually all flowers and greenery will dry different than it looks fresh. We do our best to capture the overall vibe and shape of your bouquet however we like to think of your frame as a beautiful piece made with your bouquet rather than an exact replication of your bouquet.
-
Standard backing is a solid coloured background that your bouquet is designed on.
The float backing is a glass backing that your bouquet is designed on. This option is only available in our pressed frame style.

Almost all blooms will change and have more of an antique look to them after the drying process. This is especially true for white flowers which dry to a creamy, antique yellow/beige/brown. If you have a variety of white flowers in your bouquet they will each press to different shades of off-whites/beiges. Please keep this in mind when booking your all white bouquet and refer to example images below.
White: Antiquey creams, beiges, soft browns, pale yellow (the undertone of the white rose will play a role in what the dried colour turns out to be)
Red: Will lose some red and become more purple toned
Pink: Holds colour fairly well, with a purple tone, some antique tones expected
Orange: Most oranges hold colour very well with the exception of toffee and moab roses (these tend to go purple toned)
Yellow: Hold colour very well
Blue: Hold colour fairly well
Purple: Hold colour fairly well, usually deepen in colour a bit and lose any red tones in them (especially true for more magenta toned purples)

With flowers being an organic medium, changes and aging over time are inevitable. These changes would occur whether you air dried your bouquet, pressed your bouquet or even sealed it within resin - there is just no natural way to preserve their fresh colour long term. All flowers will eventually fade over time and give your frame a beautiful antique look to it. Please keep your frame out of direct sunlight, away from high heat and humidity to help the colour remain as long as possible. Shadowbox pieces will retain better colour a bit better over time, however, they are a bit more of a fragile piece.

There are a few things you can do to make sure your bouquet arrives in good condition - but there are also a few things that are out of our control.
Keep your bouquet in water whenever possible throughout your big day. It’s best to assign someone to the task of caring for you bouquet as you’ll be too busy throughout the day!
Don’t toss your bouquet! Have your florist do up a mini toss bouquet to throw instead.
Let your florist know you’re having your bouquet preserved and request they don’t use any sprays (Crowning Glory, floral spray paint etc).
Do not mist your bouquet with water!
Drop your bouquet off within 2-3 days of your wedding.
What we can’t control:
The age of the flowers your florist uses in your bouquet.
The variety of flowers your florist uses (some white rose varieties press better and “whiter” than others).
Don’t stress about the things we can’t control but do your best to care for your flowers while they’re in your hands for a better chance at a beautiful pressed frame!

Yes and no! Fresh is best for pressing flowers. Try your best to keep your bouquet in water whenever you can throughout the day to help avoid browning and wilting. This is also why it’s so important for us to get our hands on your blooms within 2- 3 days of your wedding. If your wedding has already passed and you’d like to have your bouquet framed we are happy to press your bouquet from dry. Although you won’t get quite the same results as if you had pressed your bouquet fresh, we can create a beautiful piece using your already dried flowers.
